Products
- RYC/B: PID Control and Regulation Fundamentals Unit — EDIBON: A self-contained unit for the fundamentals of PID control and regulation. Reference signals generated on the panel are applied to the systems through a PID controller, so students see how each control term shapes the response.
- RYC-SM: PID Control and Regulation of a DC Servomotor Unit — EDIBON: Covers speed control and position control of a DC servomotor. Speed and position sensors allow the dynamic response of the motor to be analysed, and show how each parameter of the PID controller changes that response under load.
- RYC-BB: PID Control and Regulation of a Ball and Beam System Unit — EDIBON: A classical unstable control process: a motor tilts a beam along which a steel ball rolls, and the controller must hold the ball at the set position. Students study stability, tuning and the limits of PID control on an unstable plant.
- RYC: Computer Controlled Teaching Unit for the Study of Regulation and Control — EDIBON: The base unit common to every RYC type unit, on which regulation and automatic control practices are carried out. It is organised into functional sections that provide the reference generation, control and measurement for the process units.
- RYC-PI: PID Control and Regulation of an Inverted Pendulum Unit — EDIBON: An inverted pendulum mounted on a moving carriage, one of the most unstable processes used in control teaching. Position and angle sensors allow the balance of the pendulum to be controlled and the tuning of the loop to be examined.
- RYC-CLM: PID Magnetic Levitation Control and Regulation Unit — EDIBON: A strongly nonlinear process in which a metal ball is held in the air by an electromagnet. Position and current sensors allow the height of the ball to be controlled, so students see what makes a nonlinear plant hard to regulate.
- RYC-N: PID Level Control and Regulation Unit — EDIBON: Covers level control in a tank by regulating the inlet flow. Level sensors, a pump and valves let students change the operating conditions and analyse level dynamics, stabilisation and the accuracy of the control loop.
- RYC-TE: PID Temperature Control and Regulation Unit — EDIBON: Covers temperature control in a tank using a heating element and temperature sensors. Students analyse the thermal dynamics of the process, its response time and the stability of the loop under PID control.
- RYC-C: PID Flow Control and Regulation Unit — EDIBON: Covers flow control in a closed hydraulic circuit using a pump, a flowmeter and an electronic proportional valve. Students analyse flow dynamics and the response of the loop to set point and disturbance changes.
- RYC-CP: PID Position Control and Regulation of a Motor Unit — EDIBON: Covers linear position control using a DC motor that moves a carriage. Position sensors measure the displacement so students can analyse the response of the loop and tune the controller for accuracy and settling.
- UCP: Computer Controlled Process Control (Electronic Valve) — EDIBON: A computer controlled process control unit using an electronic control valve. It supports several types of automatic control and can be applied to flow, level, temperature, pressure, pH, conductivity and total dissolved solids.
- RYC-pH: PID Control and Regulation of pH Level Unit — EDIBON: Covers pH control in a tank by dosing acidic and basic solutions. pH sensors, dosing pumps and a mixing tank let students analyse a dynamic chemical process and the response of the loop to changes in reagent flow.
- APC: Applications for Process Control — EDIBON: A set of applications on which students design, assemble and configure control systems while studying the control engineering behind them. They range from simple flow, level, pressure and temperature loops to more complete arrangements.
- CPIC: Computer Controlled Industrial Process Control Plant — EDIBON: An industrial process control plant for experimenting with flow, level, pressure and temperature. It allows the practical analysis of process dynamics and of the control strategies applied to each of those variables.
- CTAC: Computer Controlled Coupled Tanks System — EDIBON: Four transparent tanks, each with a pressure sensor for level, coupled through computer controlled solenoid valves. Two independently controlled pumps drive the water, and a manual valve at each outlet introduces unmeasured disturbances.
- CRCI: Industrial Controllers Networking — EDIBON: A modular unit for networking industrial controllers. Two industrial controllers, a set point module and the associated interfaces let students connect the controllers, exchange data between them and study distributed control.
- CECI: Industrial Controllers Unit — EDIBON: A modular unit built around an industrial controller together with a digital voltmeter, set point generator and the surrounding modules. It shows how a real industrial controller is configured, tuned and connected into a loop.
- SCE: Computer Controlled Power Plants Regulation and Control Unit — EDIBON: Simulates and analyses the behaviour of a power plant in two operating modes. Real mode acquires data from the hardware under steady state or transient conditions, so plant regulation and control can be studied experimentally.
- FLPTU: Flow, Level, Pressure and Temperature Regulation for Process Control — EDIBON: Practical training in industrial process control across four variables. Students work through the fundamentals of control loops and apply both on/off and PID control to flow, level, pressure and temperature.
- CEAC: Computer Controlled Controller Tuning Unit — EDIBON: Works together with a computer so that the parameters of the industrial controller can be changed while the process is running. Students see directly how each tuning change alters the closed loop response of the plant.
- RYC/T: Computer Controlled Modular Control and Regulation Unit — EDIBON: Designed by EDIBON, the "RYC/T" Computer Controlled Modular Control and Regulation Unit, with SCADA and PID Control, was created to study the principles of regulation and automatic control. It allows analysis of the behaviour of different processes and the application of PID controllers and compensators under real conditions.
