Products
- CF: Flow Channels (section: 80X300 mm) — EDIBON: CF is a tilting open channel flume with a working section of 80 x 300 mm. Weirs, gates, spillways and other models are placed in the glass sided channel to study open channel flow, the hydraulic jump and flow over structures. A computer controlled version, CFC, is also published.
- CFG: Flow Channels — EDIBON: CFG is a large tilting flume for open channel hydraulics. Slope, flow rate and downstream level are adjustable and a range of models can be installed to study uniform and varied flow and flow over hydraulic structures. A computer controlled version, CFGC, is also published.
- HTHS150/150C: Computer Controlled Closed Hydrodynamic Tunnel for High Speed, 150X150 mm — EDIBON: HTHS150/150C is a computer controlled closed circuit water tunnel with a 150 x 150 mm working section for high speed tests. Models are mounted in the transparent section and lift, drag and pressure distribution are recorded through the data acquisition system.
- HTLS150/150C: Computer Controlled Closed Hydrodynamic Tunnel for Low Speed, 150X150 mm — EDIBON: HTLS150/150C is a computer controlled closed circuit water tunnel with a 150 x 150 mm working section for low speed tests. It is used to visualise flow around bodies and to measure the forces acting on them at low Reynolds numbers.
- CAS: Sediment Transport Demonstration Channel — EDIBON: CAS is a recirculating channel with a mobile sand bed for studying sediment transport. Flow rate and slope are varied so students can observe the start of particle motion, bed forms such as ripples and dunes, and scour around structures.
- HVFLM-2: Mobile Bed and Flow Visualization Unit (working section: 2000X610 mm) — EDIBON: HVFLM-2 is a mobile bed flume with a 2000 x 610 mm working section for river engineering studies. Sediment movement, meander formation, scour at bridge piers and the effect of groynes can be reproduced. A 4000 x 610 mm version, HVFLM-4, is also published.
- CFC: Computer Controlled Flow Channels (section: 80X300 mm) — EDIBON: A channel of rectangular section, with transparent walls that allow all the experiments to be observed, through which water flows.
- CFGC: Computer Controlled Flow Channels — EDIBON: Used to perform multiple hydraulic tests, the Computer Controlled Flow Channels, "CFGC", are hydrodynamic channels.
