Conduction cooled diodes remove the need for deionised cooling water, and both rack mounted and integrated chiller versions are offered.
- Compact Series — Coherent: Compact Series are direct diode lasers from 30 W to 600 W for materials processing of plastics and metals. They are turnkey fibre coupled systems that integrate the diode source with the required power and cooling equipment on a single phase supply.
- StingRay and BioRay — Coherent: StingRay is a diode laser module with a top hat line profile and a choice of fan angles, and BioRay adds a heat sink and mounting plate with an elliptical beam and adjustable focus for life science use. Both use glass optics and are configured to order.
- SureLock — Coherent: SureLock are wavelength stabilised diode laser modules using PowerLocker volume holographic grating filters. Single frequency and narrowed linewidth versions are offered in free space and fibre coupled formats for Raman spectroscopy and metrology.
- Ultra-Low Noise (ULN) and Visible Laser Modules (VLM) — Coherent: ULN and VLM are OEM diode laser modules for inspection, alignment and instrumentation. VLM modules are very small units with precision aligned glass optics and feedback electronics, while ULN modules include their own power supply and eliminate mode hops.
- Collimated-Beam Diode Laser Modules — Coherent: These are ultra-compact low power diode laser modules for aiming, aligning and pointing in industrial laser, biomedical and machine vision work. Visible wavelengths include 405, 445, 488, 520, 635 and 655 nm, with auto current control and a wide operating temperature range.
- Fiber-Coupled Diode Lasers — Coherent: These are fibre pigtailed diode lasers supplied with one metre of standard or custom fibre, including single mode, multi-mode and polarisation maintaining types. Available wavelengths include 405, 440, 515, 520, 532, 635, 660, 785, 808 and 1064 nm, with dual colour fibre combiners on request.
- CellX Multi-Wavelength Laser Engine — Coherent: CellX combines up to four OBIS lasers into one engine with independently addressable outputs and user adjustable beam position and focus. It is built for flow cytometry, cell sorting and microscopy, with internal thermal management for stability.
- CellX PT Multi-Wavelength Laser Engine — Coherent: CellX PT is a permanently aligned laser engine for volume OEM use in flow cytometry and other bio-instrumentation. It carries up to four wavelengths with PermAlign beam delivery optics and produces a fixed pattern of focused stripes in a hermetically sealed housing.
- Galaxy Multi-Wavelength Laser Engine — Coherent: Galaxy is a modular laser engine that combines up to eight wavelengths into a single output fibre with no alignment needed. It works with OBIS and Sapphire fibre pigtailed lasers, and integrated systems come preloaded with three, four or five lasers plus a LaserBox.
- PM10K+ & PM15K+ Laser Power Sensors — Coherent: PM10K+ and PM15K+ are water cooled large area thermopile sensors for industrial lasers, measuring up to 20 kW in under five seconds. All three variants use the broadband BB+ absorber from 190 nm to 11 um and include a safety interlock.
- PowerMax-Pro High-Speed Thermoelectric Power Sensors — Coherent: PowerMax-Pro are transverse thermoelectric sensors that measure high power continuous wave and pulsed lasers at fast sampling rates. They combine the broad wavelength sensitivity and damage resistance of a thermopile with the response speed of a photodiode.
- Thermopile and Calorimeter Power Sensors — Coherent: Coherent PowerMax thermopile and calorimeter sensors measure average power and single pulse energy across more than 100 models. They cover power from 100 uW to 12 kW and beam diameters up to 200 mm for pulsed and continuous wave lasers.
- Semiconductor Power Sensors — Coherent: Coherent semiconductor power sensors measure the average power of continuous wave and modulated lasers at very low powers with fast response. Silicon and ultraviolet enhanced silicon models cover the ultraviolet to near infrared, while germanium models extend further into the infrared.
- Pulse Energy Sensors — Coherent: Coherent pulse energy sensors measure pulse energies from 10 nJ to 15 J using pyroelectric detectors with large active areas and a high damage threshold. Semiconductor models measure up to 10 kHz, and meterless versions carry USB or RS-232 electronics in the cable.
