Products
- N-BK7 Plano-Convex Lenses, AR Coated 400 to 1100 nm — ThorLabs: Positive focal length singlet lenses in Grade A N-BK7, near best form for infinite conjugate work. They are the general purpose focusing and collimating lens of an optics bench, offered from 6 mm to 75 mm diameter with a broadband antireflection coating.
- Aspheric Condenser Lenses (ACL Series) — ThorLabs: Large aperture aspheres in B270 crown glass, shaped for collecting and collimating light from LEDs, lamps and other extended sources. High numerical apertures gather a wide cone of light with far less spherical aberration than a spherical condenser.
- Diffraction-Limited High-Precision Aspheres, MRF Polished (AL Series) — ThorLabs: Magnetorheologically polished aspheric lenses in N-BK7 or S-LAH64 that reach diffraction limited performance. They focus or collimate a laser beam in a single element and are used where a doublet would add too much wavefront error.
- Plano-Convex Cylindrical Lenses, N-BK7, Uncoated — ThorLabs: Cylindrical lenses that focus or magnify in one axis only. They are used to circularise the elliptical output of a laser diode, form a line focus and give anamorphic beam shaping on an optical bench.
- Protected Silver Mirrors (PF Series, P01 Coating) — ThorLabs: Metallic mirrors with a silver coating and a silicon dioxide overcoat, giving the highest visible and near infrared reflectance of any Thorlabs metallic mirror. Round, square and rectangular formats are stocked, and the broad response suits femtosecond pulses.
- Protected Gold Mirrors (PF Series, M01 Coating) — ThorLabs: Gold coated mirrors with a protective dielectric overcoat, intended for infrared work where reflectance must stay high well beyond 2 micrometres. Reflectance is relatively insensitive to angle of incidence, as with other metallic coatings.
- Protected Aluminum Mirrors (PF Series, G01 Coating) — ThorLabs: General purpose broadband mirrors with an aluminium coating under a silicon dioxide protective layer. They tarnish less readily than protected silver in humid conditions, which makes them a practical teaching laboratory mirror.
- Fused Silica Broadband Dielectric Mirrors (BB Series) — ThorLabs: Dielectric coated mirrors on fused silica substrates that reflect more than 99% for both polarisations over four broad bands. They are designed for continuous wave and nanosecond lasers at angles of incidence from 0 to 45 degrees.
- Off-Axis Parabolic Mirrors, Protected Silver Coating (MPD Series) — ThorLabs: Diamond turned off-axis parabolas that focus a collimated beam or collimate a point source without spherical or chromatic aberration. The off-axis geometry moves the focus clear of the beam path, which is useful for spectroscopy and ultrafast work.
- Right-Angle Prisms (PS Series) — ThorLabs: High precision prisms that turn a beam through 90 degrees by total internal reflection at the hypotenuse, or retroreflect it through 180 degrees. They are a standard classroom demonstration of total internal reflection as well as a beam folding component.
- Equilateral Dispersive Prisms (PS Series) — ThorLabs: High index prisms with a low Abbe number, used to disperse white light into a spectrum with less stray light than a grating and no higher diffraction orders. They are normally used at the minimum angle of deviation.
- Glan-Taylor Calcite Polarizers (GT Series) — ThorLabs: Air-spaced birefringent prism polarisers made from laser quality natural calcite, producing very pure linear polarisation. The ordinary ray leaves through a side port, so only the transmitted extraordinary beam should be used.
- Nanoparticle Linear Film Polarizers (LP Series) — ThorLabs: Sheet polarisers made from nanoparticles in sodium-silicate glass, covering the UV through to the mid infrared in eleven wavelength bands. Mounted versions thread into SM lens tubes and rotation mounts for polarisation experiments.
- Non-Polarizing Cube Beamsplitters, 400 to 700 nm (BS Series) — ThorLabs: Cemented N-BK7 cubes that divide a beam with little dependence on its polarisation, in five split ratios. The single reflecting surface avoids ghost images and the cube geometry keeps the transmitted beam free of lateral offset.
- Visible Ruled Reflective Diffraction Gratings (GR Series) — ThorLabs: Aluminium coated ruled gratings blazed for the visible, produced from a ruled original on a soda lime glass substrate. They give high first order efficiency near the blaze wavelength for spectroscopy and monochromator builds.
- Hard-Coated UV and Visible Bandpass Filters (FBH and FLH Series) — ThorLabs: Ion beam sputtered bandpass filters with high in-band transmission and deep out-of-band blocking, mounted in black anodised aluminium rings. They isolate a laser line or fluorescence band in spectroscopy and imaging setups.
- Long Working Distance Objectives (LMU and M Plan Series) — ThorLabs: Infinity corrected objectives with an unusually large gap between the front element and the sample, for ultraviolet, visible or near infrared use. The long working distance suits machine vision, wafer inspection and experiments that need access under the objective.
- OPerA Solo — Coherent: OPerA Solo is a tunable optical parametric amplifier that converts the output of an Astrella ultrafast amplifier into a continuously tunable beam. It covers 240 nm to 20 um in a single box and is used for 2D spectroscopy and pump-probe spectroscopy.
- TOPAS Prime — Coherent: TOPAS Prime is a modular tunable optical parametric amplifier for use with Astrella ultrafast amplifiers. It produces continuously tunable output from 193 nm to 20 um and is used for 2D spectroscopy and pump-probe spectroscopy.
- Opera-F — Coherent: Opera-F is a high power optical parametric amplifier pumped by a Monaco femtosecond laser. It produces tunable output at repetition rates up to 4 MHz across 650 to 900 nm and 1200 to 2500 nm, for 2D spectroscopy, advanced materials spectroscopy and three-photon imaging.
- Opera-HP — Coherent: Opera-HP is a high energy optical parametric amplifier pumped by a Monaco femtosecond laser. It delivers tunable pulses from 210 nm to 2600 nm at repetition rates up to 2 MHz, extendable to 16 um, for 2D spectroscopy and advanced materials spectroscopy.
- Levante OPO — Coherent: The Levante OPO is a tunable optical parametric oscillator for use with Axon 1064 and Chameleon Discovery NX oscillators. It produces tunable output from 1320 nm to 5000 nm for ultrafast spectroscopy, pump-probe spectroscopy and microscopy.
