Products
- C-Series Photodiode Power Sensors (S100 Series) — ThorLabs: Photodiode sensor heads for optical power meter consoles, chosen when fast response and high resolution matter more than a flat spectral response. Standard, slim, microscope slide, integrating sphere and fibre versions all share the C-Series connector.
- C-Series Thermal Power Sensors (S400 Series) — ThorLabs: Thermopile sensor heads with a broadband absorber and a relatively flat spectral response, for measuring laser power from the deep UV into the far infrared. Most heads accept free space input and a fibre adapter, and connect to any C-Series console.
- C-Series Pyroelectric Energy Sensors (ES Series) — ThorLabs: Pyroelectric heads that measure the energy of individual laser pulses across a very wide spectral range. Standard, high energy and fast versions cover different repetition rates, and a BNC to C-Series adapter is supplied for use with Thorlabs consoles.
- PM100D2 and PM100D3 Digital Handheld Power and Energy Meter Consoles — ThorLabs: Handheld consoles with a colour touchscreen that read Thorlabs photodiode, thermal and pyroelectric sensors. They log data to internal memory and support free space and fibre measurements, with over forty compatible sensor heads.
- PM5020 Dual-Channel Benchtop Power and Energy Meter Console — ThorLabs: A two channel benchtop console with a 5 inch touchscreen, for continuous wave and modulated light measurement. It acquires up to 100 kS/s, drives configurable analogue outputs and can be monitored over USB, Ethernet, RS232 or a web browser.
- PM16 Series Compact USB Power Meters — ThorLabs: Sensor heads with the power meter electronics built into a USB stick housing, read by the Optical Parameter Monitor software on a PC. Photodiode, slim photodiode, integrating sphere and thermal head formats are offered, all post mountable.
- PDA Series Si and Black Si Free-Space Amplified Photodetectors — ThorLabs: Silicon photodetectors with a built-in transimpedance amplifier, in fixed gain, switchable gain and USB data acquisition versions. They are the workhorse detector for laser pulse monitoring and general laboratory photodetection.
- DET Series Free-Space Biased Detectors — ThorLabs: Reverse biased photodiodes in a slim aluminium housing for monitoring continuous wave or fast pulsed lasers. Silicon, germanium and InGaAs versions cover the UV to the mid infrared, and each unit ships with an internal 12 V bias battery.
- PDB Series Free-Space Balanced Amplified Photodetectors — ThorLabs: Balanced receivers that subtract two optical inputs to cancel common mode noise, letting small signal changes be pulled out of the noise floor. They are used for spectroscopy, heterodyne detection, optical coherence tomography and terahertz work.
- SPDM Series Single Photon Detectors and Counting Modules — ThorLabs: Actively quenched, temperature stabilised silicon avalanche photodiode modules that produce a TTL pulse for every detected photon. They pair with correlated photon pair sources for quantum optics teaching, and also suit photon correlation spectroscopy and LIDAR.
- Photomultiplier Modules (PMT and PMM Series) — ThorLabs: Photomultiplier modules with bialkali, multialkali or GaAsP photocathodes for detecting faint optical signals. Their large active areas suit divergent light, and SM1 or C-Mount threading lets filters and lens tubes attach directly.
- Position-Sensing Detectors (PDP and PDQ Series) — ThorLabs: Detectors that report the position of an incident beam rather than just its power. The lateral effect PDP90A is insensitive to beam shape, while the segmented quadrant models suit automatic alignment and beam stabilisation loops.
- General-Purpose Ø50 mm Integrating Spheres (2P Series) — ThorLabs: Integrating spheres in black anodised aluminium that spread incoming light evenly by multiple internal reflections. They are used for laser power, flux, reflectance and radiance measurements, and take Thorlabs SM05PD photodiodes directly.
- Zelux 1.6 MP CMOS Compact Scientific Cameras — ThorLabs: Very small scientific cameras with a 1.6 megapixel global shutter CMOS sensor, in monochrome and colour. They connect over USB 3.0, thread directly into SM1 lens tubes and 30 mm cage systems, and ship with ThorImageCAM software and an SDK.
- Kiralux CMOS Compact Scientific Cameras — ThorLabs: A family of global shutter CMOS cameras from 1.3 to 12.3 megapixels in monochrome, colour and NIR-enhanced versions. Passively cooled and thermoelectrically cooled models are offered, all with a USB 3.0 interface and cage system compatibility.
- Quantalux 2.1 MP sCMOS Scientific Cameras — ThorLabs: Monochrome scientific CMOS cameras built for low light imaging, combining sub-electron median read noise with high dynamic range. They are used for fluorescence microscopy, quantum dot imaging and multispectral work, in passively or actively cooled packages.
- Kiralux Polarization Cameras, 5.0 MP Monochrome CMOS — ThorLabs: Monochrome cameras with a four-direction wire grid polariser array built onto the sensor between the microlenses and the photodiodes. A single exposure yields intensity, azimuth and degree of linear polarisation images for stress and flaw inspection.
- LaserCam HR II — Coherent: LaserCam HR II is a camera based beam profiler that records the spatial intensity distribution and size of a laser beam. It measures pulsed and continuous wave beams from 0.5 mm to 6 mm across, with ultraviolet and visible to near infrared versions.
- BeamMaster-USB System — Coherent: BeamMaster-USB is a scanning multiple knife-edge beam profiler for continuous wave lasers. Its large dynamic range lets it measure small diameter and focused beams from 3 um to 8 mm across a wavelength range of 190 nm to 1800 nm.
- LabMax Laser Power & Energy Meters — Coherent: LabMax are bench meters that give NIST traceable measurements of continuous wave and pulsed laser output, with statistics and data logging. Five models cover touchscreen, traditional display and PC controlled operation and work with Coherent thermopile, pyroelectric, fast thermoelectric and semiconductor sensors.
- FieldMax Touch — Coherent: FieldMax Touch and FieldMax Touch Pro are handheld meters that measure laser power and energy from microwatts to tens of kilowatts. They carry a 5 inch colour touchscreen with Ethernet and USB connectivity and are calibrated to ISO 17025.
- FieldMaxII and FieldMate Laser Power & Energy Meters — Coherent: FieldMaxII and FieldMate are portable meters giving NIST traceable measurements of continuous wave and pulsed laser output with statistics and data logging. Four models cover power only, power and energy, pulse energy and an analogue needle version for laser tuning.
- LaserCheck Power Meter — Coherent: LaserCheck is a pen sized handheld laser power meter with a silicon sensor covering the visible to near infrared. It measures from microwatts to 1 W, and its long thin body lets it sample beams located inside an instrument.
