Products
- EACC: Computer Controlled Hot Water Production and Heating Teaching Unit — EDIBON: Low temperature gas oil boiler feeding two primary circuits, one to a domestic hot water cylinder and one to a radiator inside a methacrylate room. A portable analyser measures the flue gases so combustion efficiency can be assessed alongside the heating performance.
- TEHSC: Computer Controlled Unit to Study the Efficiency of a Heating System — EDIBON: Closed heating system built from pipes, fittings and valves of the kind used in real installations, with a safety group to DIN 4751. Differential pressure sensors across each component let students quantify pressure drops and analyse system efficiency.
- THST: Heating System Training Unit — EDIBON: Simulation of a central heating system with four radiators, each fitted with its own thermostatic valve. A circulation pump, rotameters and a four way mixing valve let students study flow distribution and the control of feed and return temperature.
- THBT: Hydraulic Radiator Balancing Training Unit — EDIBON: Unit for studying how to balance a heating installation so that every radiator receives enough hot water. Balancing valves, thermostatic valves and lockshields are set on independent circuits built from commercial components.
- TCPT: Circulating Pumps Training Unit — EDIBON: Closed circuit with two circulating pumps that can be switched between series and parallel operation using ball valves. Students plot the pump characteristic curve and see how each arrangement changes the pressure and flow in a heating system.
- WHT: Water Heaters Training Unit — EDIBON: Installation with three water heaters of different types so their heating speed, efficiency and consumption can be compared. It covers the difference between storage and instantaneous heating and the safety devices used on gas appliances.
- TEVT: Expansion Vessel Training Unit — EDIBON: Test unit for sanitary and heating techniques that shows how an expansion vessel works and lets students plot its pressure to volume characteristic curve. Water is transferred from a graduated tank into the vessel using regulated compressed air.
- UHHS: Underfloor Heating and/or Heat Source for Heat Pump — EDIBON: Unit that reproduces an underfloor heating installation and can also act as a heat source for a heat pump. Three circuits of different length inside a water filled tank allow the uniformity of distribution and the efficiency of heat transfer to be compared.
- FHAH: Fan Heater and/or Air Heat Exchanger — EDIBON: Aerotherm with pipework and temperature sensors that can act as a heat sink for space heating or cooling, or as a heat source working with a heat pump. Its fan speed is adjustable so operating conditions can be varied.
- TPVST: Pressure Vessel and Safety Features Training Unit — EDIBON: Pipework circuit with an electrically heated pressure tank and a safety group for a closed water system. It is used to study how relief and shut-off valves and thermal safety devices act when set conditions are reached.
- TEDT: Thermal Expansion Training Unit — EDIBON: Unit for measuring the thermal expansion of pipe sections and the force that expansion produces. Six sections in different materials and diameters are selected individually, and one carries an expansion compensator so its effect can be assessed.
- TAAC: Computer Controlled Air Conditioning Laboratory Unit — EDIBON: Designed by EDIBON, the "TAAC" Computer Controlled Air Conditioning Laboratory Unit is intended for studying changes in the air conditions and in the refrigeration circuit.
- TAAUC: Computer Controlled Automobile Air Conditioning Unit — EDIBON: Designed by EDIBON, the "TAAUC" Computer Controlled Automobile Air Conditioning Unit basically consists of a compressor that is belt-driven by a motor simulating the engine of a car.
- TARC: Computer Controlled Recirculating Air Conditioning Unit — EDIBON: Designed by EDIBON, the "TARC" Computer Controlled Recirculating Air Conditioning Unit is intended to introduce students to the complex world of air conditioning systems. It also allows the optimal parameters for operating the unit to be studied and determined according to environmental requirements (humidity, heat, temperature and cooling, etc.).
- TSAC/S: Computer Controlled Basic Air Conditioning Unit with Climatic Chamber — EDIBON: Designed by EDIBON, the "TSAC/S" Computer Controlled Basic Air Conditioning Unit with Climatic Chamber is clearly arranged, representing a complete air conditioning installation with an air duct and a climatic chamber.
