• TGV: Steam Generator (3 kW) — EDIBON: An electrically heated steam generator that supplies saturated steam to other teaching units. It works at 0.9 bar with a maximum of 2 bar and carries a safety valve, pressure switch and level safety so the heater switches off if the water level drops.
• TGV/6KW: Steam Generator (6 kW) — EDIBON: The 6 kW version of the EDIBON electrically heated steam generator. It produces saturated steam at 0.9 bar working pressure with a maximum of 2 bar, and includes a safety valve, level indicator, pressure switch and level safety cut out.
• TGV-6KWA: Steam Generator (6 kW) (for high pressures and high temperatures) — EDIBON: A horizontal steam generator with two 6 kW heating elements for higher pressure work. It produces steam at 5 bar service pressure with a maximum of 6 bar, and the boiler body is insulated with mineral wool.
• TGV-18KWA: Steam Generator (18 kW) (for high pressures and high temperatures) — EDIBON: A horizontal steam generator with three 6 kW heating elements for laboratories needing a larger steam supply. It works at 5 bar service pressure with a maximum of 6 bar, and safety devices reset once the level or pressure fault is cleared.
• WHM: Water Heating Unit — EDIBON: A bench top water heater used to bring the working fluid of another teaching unit up to test temperature. Heat passes from an insulated resistor to cold water flowing through an inner tube, and a stabilising valve limits temperature swings when the flow changes.
• TERA: Refrigeration or Heating Water Recirculation Unit — EDIBON: A reversible heat pump that supplies a continuous flow of chilled or heated water to other teaching units. Water falls by gravity from the storage tank through the heat pump and a centrifugal pump returns it to the tank.
• TERA/A: Refrigeration or Heating Water Recirculation Advanced Unit — EDIBON: The advanced reversible heat pump for supplying chilled or heated water at a constant flow. It is used for heat transfer and fluid temperature control work, where a second flow or a static volume is conditioned by indirect contact.
• T/KIT1: Maintenance Kit containing Vacuum Pump, Hoses and Manometers — EDIBON: A charging and evacuation kit for refrigeration training circuits. It brings together a spark free vacuum pump, a set of low permeability charging hoses and a manifold gauge set so students can empty and recharge a system safely.
• T/KIT2: Maintenance Kit containing Leakage Detector — EDIBON: A portable electronic leak detector for refrigeration training circuits. It responds to all commercial refrigerants including HFC, HCFC and CFC, and signals a leak by sound and by LED with a short response time.
• T/KIT3: Maintenance Kit containing Refrigerant Filling and Evacuation module — EDIBON: A refrigerant recovery unit that transfers gas from a training cooling system into a cylinder. A dry piston compressor raises the pressure for condensation, and the unit also handles liquid refrigerant and push pull recovery.
• T/KIT4: Refrigeration Maintenance Tools Kit — EDIBON: A tool kit for maintenance, repair and installation work on refrigeration and air conditioning systems. It covers copper tube preparation with a cutter, flaring tool, deburring tool and bender, together with hand tools and test instruments.
• VPCG: Vacuum Production for Corrosive Gases Unit — EDIBON: A vacuum unit for teaching plants whose process gases are corrosive. Wetted parts are made of PTFE, and a condensate trap stops liquid reaching the pump, so vacuum can be drawn on chemical and process units without damaging the pump.
