Temperature is set on an analogue control and read from a thermometer, with an over heat alarm fitted. Applications listed include incubating DNA specimens, cross matching and screening in the blood bank, incubating melted agar, enzyme assays, digestions and milk residue tests, as well as serology, haematology, pathology and biochemistry work. Interchangeable heating blocks accept test tubes, cuvettes and microcentrifuge tubes, each with a well for a removable thermometer, and a solid block with no holes turns the unit into a hot plate.
A forced convection hot air oven and dry heat steriliser offered in eight capacities from 16 to 200 litres, working from ambient plus 5 degrees C to 250 degrees C under microprocessor PID control.
