Engineering The Future: Vvon Technologies Limited, Bangladesh
Vvon Technologies Limited is Bangladesh's leading engineering solutions partner for solar & renewable energy, nuclear medicine, scientific & laboratory equipment, medical equipment & education, and nanotechnology. Founded in 2017 and headquartered in Baridhara, Dhaka-1212, we serve 36+ organisations including BUET, KUET, BAEC, Evercare Hospital, Akij Agro Feed, and more.
Our Engineering Verticals
- Solar & Renewable Energy: Vvon Technologies is one of Bangladesh's leading solar companies, delivering turnkey solar EPC projects since 2017 using tier-1 modules (JA Solar, Canadian Solar, Jinko Solar), Huawei and Growatt inverters, and full SREDA compliance. As a trusted solar company in Bangladesh, we handle everything: site survey, load analysis, system design, structural engineering, procurement, installation, net-metering approval, commissioning, and ongoing O&M. Your team never has to manage a single contractor. From Dhaka to Chittagong, our solar projects span every major industry in Bangladesh.
- Scientific & Laboratory Equipment: As the authorised EDIBON partner in Bangladesh, Vvon designs, supplies and commissions complete teaching laboratories across more than fifty laboratory types, from mechanics and strength of materials through fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, heat transfer, refrigeration, electrical machines, power systems, process control, chemical engineering, food and dairy technology, and biomedical instrumentation. The catalogue also carries the research and analytical instruments those departments depend on: ThorLabs photonics and optomechanics, Coherent laser systems, Renishaw Raman and metrology, Hitachi High-Tech electron microscopes, Linseis and Riso thermal and luminescence measurement, Delta Elektronika programmable power supplies, EternalSun solar simulation, and laboratory gas safety from Honeywell detection, Semian scrubbing and Oxymat on-site generation. Installation, commissioning and faculty training are included.
- Nuclear Medicine & Imaging: Vvon supplies and services nuclear medicine departments across Bangladesh, from the imaging system itself through everything the department needs around it. Imaging comes from MiE GmbH of Germany, whose SCINTRON range covers single and dual head gamma cameras, cardiac and thyroid work and processing workstations, and from Spectrum Dynamics Medical of the USA, whose digital CZT D-SPECT and VERITON platforms brought ring geometry detectors into routine use. Around them sit Leeds Test Objects phantoms for gamma camera, SPECT, PET, CT and radiology quality assurance, Nuclear Shields radiopharmacy shielding covering L-block workstations, syringe and vial shields, shielded storage, transport and waste handling, and Cemar Electro patient positioning lasers for simulation and treatment rooms. Vvon handles site planning, regulatory documentation, installation, acceptance testing, staff training and ongoing maintenance.
- Medical Equipment: Vvon equips hospitals, medical colleges and oncology centres across Bangladesh: Saikang ward and theatre furniture, Digiterm dialysis and therapy chairs, Meicen radiotherapy immobilisation, Ashland Gafchromic dosimetry, GEMMY laboratory instruments, Karl Kaps colposcopes from Germany, and the Anatomage Table for anatomy teaching.
- Nanotechnology: Vvon plans, supplies and commissions nanotechnology and materials research facilities for universities, national laboratories and semiconductor research groups in Bangladesh. The catalogue covers process equipment (Oxford Instruments plasma etch and deposition, SUSS MicroTec lithography, Denton Vacuum and Moorfield deposition, FCT Systeme sintering, Carbolite Gero furnaces), characterisation (Hitachi High-Tech electron microscopes, Nanosurf atomic force microscopes, Renishaw Raman, J.A. Woollam ellipsometry, PicoQuant photoluminescence, WissEl Mossbauer, Linseis thermal analysis, Lake Shore cryogenics and magnetics, Jandel four point probe, CH Instruments electrochemistry) and the infrastructure a cleanroom needs, including Honeywell Chemcassette and Midas gas detection, Semian abatement and Oxymat on-site gas generation. Site preparation, installation, commissioning and training are handled by our own engineers.

Latest Insights
- SPECT or SPECT/CT: what the CT adds, what it really costs, and when standalone is the right buy: Attenuation correction, anatomical localisation and quantification set against the shielding, power, cooling, staffing and dose that a CT sub-system brings with it, plus an honest rule for when a standalone gamma camera is the better purchase.
- Buying nuclear medicine equipment through e-GP: writing a specification that gets three real bids: How technical specifications become accidentally single-vendor, which certificates prove what, how to evaluate on lifecycle cost rather than headline price, and the documents an e-GP submission has to carry to survive responsiveness checking.
- Breathing moves the target: 4DCT, gating, and proving the chain works with a motion phantom: Why respiratory motion distorts CT geometry and blurs emission images, how phase and amplitude binning differ, where external surrogates mislead you, and an end-to-end validation you can run with a 4DCT respiratory motion phantom.
- Thyroid uptake, imaging and radioiodine therapy: what the building has to do that a diagnostic room does not: Uptake probe geometry, collimator choice for iodine imaging, the isolation room requirements for therapy activities, patient release measurement and the written instructions that actually get followed in a Bangladeshi household.
- Radioactive waste in a nuclear medicine department: decay-in-storage, records and the room nobody drew: How decay-in-storage actually works, why segregation is by half-life rather than by bin colour, what the waste register has to prove, spill response in the first ninety seconds, and how the decay store sizes the whole department.
- Radiation safety and regulatory compliance for nuclear medicine in Bangladesh: The licensing sequence, the radiation safety officer role, personnel dosimetry, area monitoring and source accounting for a Bangladeshi nuclear medicine department, and the paperwork an inspector opens first.
