Complete Rankine cycle in which water is pumped to a computer controlled boiler, expanded in a two cylinder steam motor and condensed back to the storage tank. A throttling calorimeter gives the dryness fraction of the steam produced.
Steam power plant of 20 kW built to the same layout as a real generating station, with water softening, steam raising, expansion and condensate return. Level switches and automatic valves manage filling so the plant can be run through complete cycles.
