The SKD-B is a four motor LINAK driven ward bed with backrest, knee rest, height, Trendelenburg and reverse Trendelenburg movement plus a manual CPR release. Its PP Grace side rails include an integrated angle indicator, and the PP Grace bed ends carry a safe lock. Saikang publishes the same dimensional table for the SKD-A and the SKD-B.

An integrated PP bed platform in four to five sections gives the V6k independent section installation and straightforward maintenance. The seat area enlarges as the back section is raised, which adds comfort and reduces sponge depression at the seat panel. It runs on 5 inch covered castors with TPR tyres.

Saikang designs the V6v around infection control, with a sterile design intended to meet hospital requirements. The environmental plastic used can be sterilised at 100°C and has tensile strength up to 30MPa. Panasonic robotic welding produces a 360 degree smooth weld on the frame.
