Saikang designs the V6v around infection control, with a sterile design intended to meet hospital requirements. The environmental plastic used can be sterilised at 100°C and has tensile strength up to 30MPa. Panasonic robotic welding produces a 360 degree smooth weld on the frame.
The SKD-B is a four motor LINAK driven ward bed with backrest, knee rest, height, Trendelenburg and reverse Trendelenburg movement plus a manual CPR release. Its PP Grace side rails include an integrated angle indicator, and the PP Grace bed ends carry a safe lock. Saikang publishes the same dimensional table for the SKD-A and the SKD-B.
