Fully hydraulic hot mounting press with water cooling, embedding metallographic specimens in thermosetting resin. Heating and cooling times, temperature and pressure are set on an industrial touchscreen, and mould cylinders are available in several round and rectangular sizes. Advanced software adds one button operation and controlled fine dust extraction.
Precision cut-off machine with up to three automatic axes for sectioning small and delicate samples where kerf position matters to a few micrometres. Cross feed resolution is 0.001 mm, which suits electronic components, coatings and thin sections rather than bulk metallography.
Hot mounting press in the same fully hydraulic, water cooled family as the Qpress 40, sized for the larger mould diameters. It uses the same closure system, which is designed so the mould assembly opens and closes cleanly over long service.
