Low temperature CEMS acquisition system supplied with the RiKon-5TT detector assembly, which brings a polyethylene foam cryostat and a temperature controller with it. The vertical geometry needed for low temperature CEMS work is provided by the MB-500 VT vertical track included in the package. Signal processing runs through the PEA-6 preamplifier and AMP-1000 main amplifier into the CMCA-550 acquisition module.
Data acquisition system in which the preamplifier and the main amplifier are separate units, giving more freedom in setting up the pulse chain. It combines the LND-45431 proportional counter with the PEA-6 preamplifier and AMP-1000 spectroscopy amplifier, feeding the CMCA-550 acquisition module.
Liquid nitrogen cryostat that surrounds the RiKon-5 CEMS detector with a nitrogen chamber walled in cellular material. If the detector is not heated the nitrogen charge lasts several hours, and a level sensor can be fitted for automatic refilling. Gamma radiation enters through a window in the bottom and reaches the detector after passing only a short distance of foam plastic, while gas and high voltage are fed in through openings in the top cover.
