Brand: EDIBON | Category: Scientific & Laboratory Equipment
A laboratory plant for running adsorption tests by the pressure swing technique. A mixture can be synthesised from up to four gas feeds and then separated on the adsorbent bed, so students can study cycle time, purge ratio and product purity.
| Parameter | Value |
|---|---|
| Minimum Temperature range in adsorption | 25 °C to 50 °C |
| Maximum temperature in degassing | 200 °C |
| Maximum working pressure | 40 bar |
| Minimum working temperature range | 25 to 50 °C |
| Outer diameter | 12.7 mm |

A fixed bed column for demonstrating gas adsorption. Students follow the movement of the mass transfer zone through the bed, record breakthrough curves and study how flow rate, concentration and bed depth change the adsorption capacity obtained.
A wetted wall column in which a thin liquid film flows down a tube in contact with a gas stream. The oxygen and deoxygenated water system is used, with a desorption column supplying the stripped water, so film mass transfer coefficients can be measured directly.
A damp air drying plant that removes moisture by adsorption, with transparent columns and continuous regeneration of the adsorbent. Two circuits allow one column to dry the air while the other is regenerated, which is how industrial dryers alternate in service.
