This V8v configuration sits on 5 inch double side Secure castors with central locking and travels between 400mm and 850mm in height, which distinguishes it from the 6 inch castor build. A one button stop guards against maloperation and the manual CPR gives a quick release of the back part. PP bed ends are plug in type with a safe lock, and the side rails carry an integrated control panel.

The PP platform has an integrated mattress retainer and the backrest carries a cassette holder.
Built to the EN60601 safety standard, the Y8y8c runs at under 50dB with a movement lifetime of 20,000 cycles, and a one button emergency stop halts every movement at once. PP Oasis extra height side rails carry the nurse control panel and include a plastic socket for a phone or glasses. The removable, washable PP bed platform, 113mm wall bumper wheels and a three grade central locking pedal complete the ward specification.
