TIUS/SS provides a basic service base unit for EDIBON's heat exchanger range, relating to the TIUS base service unit and the TICC computer controlled heat exchangers training system, plus other types such as the TICB heat exchanger training system. The basic designation marks it for introductory laboratory use.
Designed by EDIBON, the "TITCB" Concentric Tube Heat Exchanger for TICB allows for the study of heat transfer between two fluids, the hot water flowing through the inner tube and the cold water flowing through the annular zone between the inner and outer tubes. How heat transfer varies under different conditions, such as changes in flow rate, temperature, and flow type (counterflow or parallel flow), can be analysed with this unit.
