How heat transfer varies under different conditions, such as changes in flow rate, temperature, and type of flow (counter-current or parallel), can be analysed with this unit. Its tube length of 4 metres, greater than other heat exchangers, gives the Expanded Concentric Tube Heat Exchanger for TICB more measurement points along the same length, expanding its analytical and experimental capabilities.
TIUS/SS provides a basic service base unit for EDIBON's heat exchanger range, relating to the TIUS base service unit and the TICC computer controlled heat exchangers training system, plus other types such as the TICB heat exchanger training system.
