Calorimeter that measures the heat carried away in the exhaust gases of a test engine. Gases rise through a double walled stainless steel tank and pass over a finned pipe carrying counter current water, which absorbs the heat for the balance.
Test bench for single cylinder and two cylinder internal combustion engines of up to 11 kW. An eddy current electromagnetic brake coupled through a double Cardan joint applies the load, and the instrumentation records the variables under study.
