The 1100 is the versatile middle member of the Kaps dental family, joining apochromatic Kaps optics to a balancing system that keeps the head precisely where it is set. Because the mechanism compensates asymmetrical loads, ergonomics survive intact even once a photo adapter, beam splitter or vario lens has been fitted. A 12mm fine focus allows sharpness to be shifted between coronal and apical planes during root canal work. The modular construction means the microscope can later be upgraded to a Kaps 1400, and wall, ceiling or floor mounting suits practices with limited space.
