The plastic parts are environmental grade, sterilisable at 100°C with tensile strength up to 30MPa. Paint goes on in an 11 process epoxy system, ASTM tested as antibacterial, 0.12 mm thick, 60° in brightness and able to resist a 50 kg impact. A metal dust cover shields the crank system, making it more endurable.
Two USA hydraulic pumps drive height adjustment together with Trendelenburg and reverse Trendelenburg positioning, and a hydraulic treadle raises the trolley. The brake spring remains qualified after 10,000 uninterrupted brake cycles.
