A portable steam steriliser with a 230 mm diameter by 410 mm deep chamber in 304 stainless steel, giving roughly 16 litres in an overall footprint of 335 x 430 x 600 mm. Design temperature is 140 degrees C, with sterilising pressure of 1.4 kg/cm2 at approximately 122 degrees C, and the published cycle table quotes 122 degrees C at 1.12 kg/cm2 for unwrapped, wrapped and liquid loads. Several internal programmes are preset for selection, and GEMMY lists the machine for dental clinics, hospitals and laboratories handling wrapped, unwrapped, liquid and utensil loads. Safety devices are an overheat and low water cut-off switch, a safety valve and a release valve.
