Two linear motors drive back-rest adjustment through 0-75°(±5°) and knee-rest adjustment through 0-45°(±5°), worked from an ergonomic handheld controller designed for patients and nurses alike. External size is 1930x880x600 mm over a 1710x780 mm mattress platform, with a 200 kg safe working load. A unique aseptic design meets hospital infection control requirements, and the environmental plastic can be sterilised at 100°C with tensile strength up to 30MPa. Five removable washable PP platform sections, an aluminium alloy foldable side rail set, PP bed ends with safe lock, four 5" double side castors, an IV pole with four provisions and two drainage hooks are supplied.
Moulded bed ends carry a medical record card, so notes travel with the child. The plastics are environmental grade, sterilisable at 100°C and rated to a tensile strength of 30MPa. Panasonic robotics weld the frame for a smooth seam through a full 360°.
Height adjusts across a wide range of 190-610mm and drops to a lowest position of 19 cm, so a child can get on and off safely. The 4-section bed measures L2080*W930 overall with an L1900*W780mm platform, back rest to 0-74°, leg rest to 0-34° and reverse Trendelenburg to 0-12°, all driven by five linear motors and a 10-button remote controller whose lock function prevents accidental touches. Head and foot boards in laminate and solid beech wood keep the frame strong yet light, and the whole bed folds for safe, easy transport and storage. Three side rails give maximum safety, the handset grip sits out of the patient's reach, colours are bright and eye-catching, and a trapeze pole is available as an option.
