GEMMY's entry level benchtop centrifuge, built around a fixed angle A-0415 rotor that takes four 15 ml or 10 ml test tubes and collects sediment diagonally for higher effective speed and RCF. Speed is regulated from 1000 rpm up to the maximum within 15 seconds, with a mechanical 60 minute timer and an LED lamp confirming the power is on. A heavy cast iron base and three rubber suction feet stop the unit creeping, and anti-vibration rubber buffers balance the rotor while it spins. GEMMY states the unit meets the CE electromagnetic compatibility requirements of EN60601-1-2 and the IEC801 series.
