Valve mounted on top of a nitrogen Dewar and wired to the RiKon-5-LNC Controller 772. The controller opens and closes it so that the foam cryostat is refilled automatically.
Hand tool for lifting the Mossbauer source out of its lead container and screwing it onto the source adapter on the velocity transducer without touching the source. Three claws at the front end hold the source and an operating wheel at the rear works them, while a shield sits in front of the source once it is gripped. At roughly 380 mm the tool keeps the operator a safe distance from the source, and a shorter version is also made.
CHI101 is a gold working electrode with a 2 mm diameter disc. CH Instruments group it with the CHI102, CHI103 and CHI104 working electrodes, all four sharing a single figure on the accessory list. Electrodes are supplied already polished and ready to use, and the CHI120 polishing kit is offered for renewing the surface before experiments.
