TPC is a computer controlled Pelton turbine test set. Head, flow, speed and torque are logged through the data acquisition system so power, efficiency and the characteristic curves at different nozzle settings can be obtained.
HVCB is a test bench for a centrifugal fan. Air flow, pressure rise, speed and power are measured across a throttled outlet so the fan characteristic and efficiency curves can be plotted. A computer controlled version, HVCC, is also published.
TFC is a computer controlled Francis turbine test set. Guide vane position, head, flow, speed and torque are logged so the power and efficiency curves of the mixed flow machine can be built up across its operating range.
