Gafchromic CK is the cut format Ashland publishes for patient and machine quality assurance on Cyberknife machines, Cyberknife being a third party trademark. Ashland states that all CK cut films are available in both EBT3 and EBT-XD, and it lists no order codes of its own against the CK format. Paired with the purpose built Film QA Pro software, Gafchromic film returns the most complete and accurate dosimetric measurement, and its instant high resolution images carry the data integrity physicists depend on.
A phantom for end to end testing of patient treatment verification, built from two slabs of Plastic Water and measuring 29 x 32 x 5 cm. It takes Gafchromic EBT3P film, which is pre punched to match the phantom's registration pins so the film can only be loaded in one orientation, and it indexes to CT and treatment couches with a standard two pin indexing bar.
Radiology machine quality assurance is the published purpose of Gafchromic LD-V1, and Ashland also lists security x-ray applications, non-destructive testing (NDT) and machine quality assurance for dental equipment. The film works over a dose range of 2cGY to 20 cGY and an energy range of roughly 20keV to 200keV. Two sheet formats are published, each carrying its own Ashland product code, and LD-V1 is one of the grades offered through the Gafchromic custom cuts service.
