Brand: EDIBON | Category: Scientific & Laboratory Equipment
The EDIBON FME03 Bernoulli's Theorem Demonstration unit consists of a transparent circular-section pipe shaped as a truncated cone with seven pressure taps connected to a water manometer. A movable Pitot tube probe traverses the full length of the conduit to measure dynamic pressure at each section. The unit can be reversed to study both convergent-to-divergent and divergent-to-convergent flow configurations. A control valve at the outlet adjusts flow rate and pressure. The unit mounts directly on the FME00 Hydraulics Bench via quick-coupling inlet fitting and adjustable levelling legs.

FME04 is used to study flow through a sharp edged orifice under constant head. The trajectory of the jet and the volume collected give the coefficients of velocity, contraction and discharge for the orifice under test.
FME01 is used to measure the force produced by a water jet striking a target. Flat, conical and hemispherical targets are fitted in turn and balanced by weights, so the measured force can be compared with the momentum equation.
FME14 is used to produce and measure free and forced vortices. Tangential inlets generate a free vortex and a paddle generates a forced vortex, and the surface profile is measured with a depth gauge for comparison with theory.
