The EMPX-H2 is a cryogenic probe station with a horizontal field electromagnet that applies up to +/-0.6 T in the plane of the sample. A 3-stage flow cryostat cooled by liquid helium or liquid nitrogen reaches a base temperature of 4.5 K, or 3.2 K with the PS-LT option. It takes up to four probe arms.
