CF is a tilting open channel flume with a working section of 80 x 300 mm. Weirs, gates, spillways and other models are placed in the glass sided channel to study open channel flow, the hydraulic jump and flow over structures. A computer controlled version, CFC, is also published.
A channel of rectangular section, with transparent walls that allow all the experiments to be observed, through which water flows.
CFG is a large tilting flume for open channel hydraulics. Slope, flow rate and downstream level are adjustable and a range of models can be installed to study uniform and varied flow and flow over hydraulic structures. A computer controlled version, CFGC, is also published.
