Used to perform multiple hydraulic tests, the Computer Controlled Flow Channels, "CFGC", are hydrodynamic channels.
HVFLM-2 is a mobile bed flume with a 2000 x 610 mm working section for river engineering studies. Sediment movement, meander formation, scour at bridge piers and the effect of groynes can be reproduced. A 4000 x 610 mm version, HVFLM-4, is also published.
CF is a tilting open channel flume with a working section of 80 x 300 mm. Weirs, gates, spillways and other models are placed in the glass sided channel to study open channel flow, the hydraulic jump and flow over structures. A computer controlled version, CFC, is also published.
