Dewar vessels of the APOLLO series are used for storing and transporting liquid nitrogen and suit the low temperature Mossbauer equipment WissEl offers. Vacuum super-insulation with long term vacuum protection keeps the evaporation rate low, and the vessels run on smooth rollers inside a transport protection frame. Fittings include a safety device at the vessel neck, a positive pressure relief and seal-off valve, a level indicator, a decanting head with waste gas and overflow valve, and integrated pressure build-up. Boron nitride disk that holds the powder sample inside the MBF-1100 Mossbauer furnace. It is listed among the spare parts for that furnace, where powder samples are placed between boron nitride plates inside the nickel rich steel sample housing.
Aluminium coated Mylar window supplied as a spare part for the MBF-1100 Mossbauer furnace. The MBF-1100 carries two windows on each side, the outer ones being made of Mylar foil.
Bubble counters are small glass containers filled with normal oil or silicon oil and fitted into the inlet and outlet pipes of the counting gas line. Gas passing through forms bubbles in the liquid, and counting those bubbles gives a measure of the gas flow. A typical flow produces a few bubbles per minute.
