A 50kV, 50W glass envelope X-ray tube intended for work that needs high flux density and continuous running. Its high stability, high intensity tube technology suits medical imaging, XRF and most industrial inspection and non-destructive testing tasks that call for high resolution, including PCB assembly, battery, plastic, metal and mechanical parts inspection. The tube can also be supplied in a stainless steel, lead lined package filled with dielectric oil for maximum shielding and heat dissipation, effectively replicating the Jupiter 5000 Series packaged tube with its high voltage and filament connectors for plug and play use. Ultra-high vacuum maintained by the Oxford Instruments getter technology gives long tube life.
