Built as a glass envelope source for demanding duty cycles including continuous operation, the 1000 Series combines high flux with spot size stability. The 90507 and the other 1000 Series tubes carry a very small isostatically focused spot for high resolution work such as mini C-Arm fluoroscopy, while the robust electron gun assembly suits integrated X-ray sources where heat dissipation is a constraint. Long tube life comes from ultra-high vacuum held by the Oxford Instruments getter technology. The tube operates in bi-polar mode.
