A digitally set thermostatic water bath offered in 22 litre and 11 litre tanks, working from 5 degrees C above ambient to 100 degrees C with PID control and a maximum setting of 99.9 degrees C. Stability and uniformity are both quoted at +/-0.01 degrees C, held by a rotating stirrer that directs flow around the tank. The moulded bath has rounded corners and seamless stainless steel sides, and the immersion heating element is sheathed in stainless steel and rated at 1.0 kW. Audible and visible alarms cut the power at 2 degrees C above the set point. Concentric ring covers, a drain valve and a perforated tray are offered as options.
