Brand: GEMMY Industrial | Category: Medical Equipment
A digitally set thermostatic water bath offered in 22 litre and 11 litre tanks, working from 5 degrees C above ambient to 100 degrees C with PID control and a maximum setting of 99.9 degrees C. Stability and uniformity are both quoted at +/-0.01 degrees C, held by a rotating stirrer that directs flow around the tank. The moulded bath has rounded corners and seamless stainless steel sides, and the immersion heating element is sheathed in stainless steel and rated at 1.0 kW. Audible and visible alarms cut the power at 2 degrees C above the set point. Concentric ring covers, a drain valve and a perforated tray are offered as options.

The timed version of GEMMY's digital thermostatic bath, in 22 litre and 11 litre tanks, with digital setting, LED digital readout and PID control to a maximum of 99.9 degrees C. Stability and uniformity are both listed at +/-0.01 degrees C and the sheathed immersion heater is rated at 1.0 kW. The timer only begins once the set temperature has stabilised, and the display shows END when the cycle finishes. Audible and visible alarms shut out power at 2 degrees C above the set point, and a drain valve and perforated tray are available as extras.
A reciprocating shaking water bath built on a microprocessor digital controller that displays the actual bath temperature and holds uniformity to +/-0.1 degrees C. Shaking stroke is set on a control knob from 20 to 200 rpm, produced by an induction motor giving a 20 mm circular motion at 0 dB. Tube racks and the flask platform can be raised, lowered and removed to suit different vessel lengths, or taken off entirely when shaking is not wanted. An audible over temperature alarm cuts the power at 2 degrees C above the set point, and temperature recalibration is available when the actual reading drifts from the display.
A 22 litre thermostatic bath set by thumb switch with three preset points at 25, 37 and 56 degrees C, the temperatures a serology and haematology bench uses most. Readout is LED digital, control is PID, and stability is quoted at +/-0.05 degrees C with uniformity at +/-0.01 degrees C to a maximum of 100 degrees C. A temperature recalibration function corrects drift between the actual and displayed value. GEMMY offers stainless steel gable lids, concentric ring covers with openings of 107, 80, 55, 31.5 and 21 mm, and mesh tube racks for 13 mm or 18 mm tubes in 40 or 20 wells.
