The X35 frame is built from 1.5mm powder coated steel, robot welded into a seamless moulding for corrosion resistance and stability. Its surface combines high end composite leather with a hand made cotton mattress shaped on an ergonomic curve, and the platform is edged on all sides for a soft touch. Backrest angle runs from 0 to +45 degrees by manual screw adjustment, while overall lifting is driven by a CE certified linear actuator from a hook type hand controller or an optional foot pedal. Four 2 inch pedal controlled polyurethane castors with two brake pedals, locked and universal, let the table be moved and fixed easily.
A hydraulically raised examination couch topped with 6cm of flame retardant high density foam at 30 kg per cubic metre. Saikang states that the hydraulic system shows no wear after 2000 operations. It runs on four 5 inch covered castors with brakes.
A soft touch surface finish makes the X36-1 safer for patients to use. A hook type hand controller is supplied, easy to press when setting the optimal height. The matching pillow is narrow at the top and wide at the bottom and can be taken off when it is not wanted.
