The environmental control configuration of the Vero AFM line, measuring true tip displacement by Quadrature Phase Differential Interferometry (QPDI). Detection noise falls by up to ten times on many cantilevers and imaging runs 10 to 100 times faster than typical AFMs. Sample temperature options cover 0 to 250 C where heating alone is needed, or 0 to 120 C where both heating and cooling are required.
Oxford Instruments publish the Cypher VRS1250 as the first and only full featured video rate AFM. Images are captured at up to 45 frames per second while the versatility of the Cypher platform is retained.
This model carries all three of Asylum Research's most advanced AFM technologies at once: Quadrature Phase Differential Interferometry (QPDI), video rate speed imaging and blueDrive photothermal excitation. Line rates reach 1250 lines per second and imaging reaches 45 frames per second. Detection noise is cut by up to ten times or more on many cantilevers.
