At the heart of this bed is a robust 4-section PP platform built for long-term use and easy maintenance, with manual crank control over backrest, leg rest and bed height. An advanced linkage system expands the seating area and reduces mattress compression as the patient is raised. 5-inch TPR covered castors keep movement smooth and quiet with anti-winding protection, while the head and foot boards use eco-friendly PP from LG Chem and carry built-in buffer wheels that stop the bed marking walls. Foldable side rails, a 4-hook IV pole with multiple sockets, drainage bag holders and spring-secured platform panels complete the specification.
Traction work is carried on an electric frame whose environmental plastic components can be sterilised at 100°C and take a tensile load of up to 30MPa. Panasonic robotics carry out the welding, giving a smooth seam through a full 360°. In dynamic testing the bed carries 120kg over 30KM and crosses obstacles 500 times.
