SuperTran-VP cryostats cool the sample by immersing it in a temperature-controlled flowing vapour drawn from a liquid helium or liquid nitrogen supply. Base temperature is below 2 K and helium use is 1.3 L/h at 5 K. The sample region is 38.1 mm across and the sample can be rotated.
