A trolley mounted theatre aspirator measuring 500 x 420 x 885 mm, whose body is moulded in one piece from compact fibreglass for resistance to rust, chipping and corrosion. It takes either an oil rotary pump at 191 W giving 80 litres per minute and 700 mmHg, or a two cylinder oil-less pump at 270 W giving 70 litres per minute and 680 mmHg. Two plastic collection bottles with overflow preventive fittings and autoclavable rubber bungs are changed over by a left to right control knob, and a built-in gauge reads 0 to 760 mmHg. Four anti-static rubber castors, two of them lockable, carry the unit, and it is supplied with two bottles, a footswitch and a length of autoclavable silicone suction tubing.
