Ward rounds are supported here by an aviation grade aluminium alloy table that cleans easily, resists corrosion and carries a partition on both sides so that items cannot fall off. The tablet fixing clip rotates through 360 degrees and uses a spring-type fixing method, so it suits tablet computers of different sizes, while buffer rubber inside the clip holds the tablet more stably and prevents scratches to the paint surface. Manual lifting on the column raises and lowers the work height through a stroke of up to 20cm and locks with a knob, adapting to different sitting and standing postures. The cart measures 510 x 830mm, weighs 8.3kg overall and rides on 5 inch medical grade mute wheels with pedal brakes over an all-metal chassis cast in one aluminium moulding.
Documents and a keyboard both fit on the pull-out secondary worktop, which also carries a hidden expandable mouse panel. The one-piece cast aluminium chassis keeps the centre of gravity and levelness of the whole unit in check. Movement is on 4-inch double-sided medical-grade silent casters, chosen for flexibility and durability.
A storage basket is fitted to this monitor cart, with hooks on both sides for cable management. The column is fixed aluminium alloy and the base is carbon steel under an ABS cover, 500mm ± 10mm in diameter. Overall the cart measures L500mm x W500mm x H875mm ± 10mm, with a tabletop of L335mm x W365mm ± 10mm. Castors are supplied as 5 pieces of 2.5-inch double-sided units, 2 of them fitted with brakes.
