Grinding and polishing machine combining a Saphir 560 base unit with a Rubin 520 preparation head, the larger base in the Saphir line. As with the 550 combination, the head applies specimen load and the base drives the working wheel under programmed control.
Automatic single wheel (PLUS 1) and twin wheel (PLUS 2) grinding and polishing machines with a higher performance head than the GO series, taking sample holders up to 185 mm diameter in central pressure mode. Specimens up to 50 mm diameter can be prepared, six at a time under single pressure.
