This reactor maintains a constant temperature with no heat exchange with its surroundings, ensuring stable conditions throughout the process; such stability is essential for precise, reproducible research into chemical and kinetic reactions.
A pilot plant that separates a solute from a solid matrix by direct contact with a suitable solvent. Five extraction columns can be loaded with the solid feed and operated in sequence, so students can study staged extraction, solvent recovery and yield. Operation is by computer and touch screen.
