Electrolytic polishing and etching machine with programmable parameter control, so voltage, current and time can be stored per material and recalled. It covers the same anodic dissolution process as the Qetch 100 M with the reproducibility that stored settings give.
Automatic planar grinding machine for the first, heavy removal step in specimen preparation. A ForceControl function measures removal electronically so the depth ground away is reproducible, and different grinding modes let the machine be set for maximum removal or for surface quality.
Manual micro hardness tester covering Vickers, Knoop and Brinell, with Rockwell as an option. Force is applied electronically and the test sequence runs automatically once the indent position is set. An eight position motorised turret carries up to three testing modules and seven lenses, so the tester doubles as a metallurgical microscope.
