Brand: Retsch | Category: Scientific & Laboratory Equipment
Single station planetary ball mill in which the jar rotates about its own axis on a counter rotating sun wheel, so grinding balls are driven across the jar wall by Coriolis forces. That produces high pulverisation energy and short grinding times, down to below 1 µm and to 0.1 µm for colloidal grinding.

Two station planetary ball mill for grinding two samples in parallel under identical conditions, or one sample with a counterweight. Jar sizes go up to 125 ml and the mill reaches below 1 µm, and 0.1 µm for colloidal grinding. Input energy can be measured, which supports mechanochemical work.
Mixer mill with six grinding stations, so up to 50 samples can be processed in one run when adapter racks are used. It is aimed at laboratories with a high sample count rather than a single demanding sample, and covers mechanochemistry, homogenisation, size reduction and cryogenic grinding.
Two station planetary ball mill taking jars up to 500 ml, with a higher sun wheel speed and a centrifugal acceleration of 64 g. The larger batch volume and higher energy input suit mechanochemistry and co-crystal screening as well as conventional fine grinding.
