Upgrade that couples a microscope to an FLS1000 or FS5 spectrometer, so photoluminescence spectra and lifetimes can be taken from a selected point on a sample rather than from a bulk volume. It turns the spectrometer into a combined spectroscopy and microscopy system.
Compact lifetime spectrometer weighing 5 kg, covering both time-correlated single photon counting and multi channel scaling. A filter wheel with five bandpass filters replaces the emission monochromator, which is what keeps the instrument small and makes it suitable for teaching as well as routine lifetime measurement.
X-ray sample chamber that connects to an FLS1000 or FS5 by liquid light guide, so scintillator samples can be excited with x-rays and their UV, visible or near infrared emission measured by the spectrometer. Both steady state and pulsed operation are supported, which gives radioluminescence spectra and decay times.
