A digital binocular microscope combining a measuring tube at 45 degrees with 360 degree rotation, a 1.3 megapixel CMOS camera system and capture software. Magnifications of 40X, 100X, 400X and 1000X come from achromatic objectives of 4X, 10X, 40X spring loaded and 100X spring loaded oil, with WF10X eyepieces giving a 20 mm field and interpupillary distance from 55 to 75 mm. The supplied software takes photographs, records video and measures actual length, area, diameter, circumference and angle. The double layer mechanical stage is 130 x 120 mm with a 70 x 30 mm moving range, over an N.A. 1.25 Abbe condenser with iris diaphragm and filter.
