The coated nylon shell holds the specialised particle fill air-tight and water-proof and shrugs off tears and stains. Dark blue polyamide keeps the cushion visible in optical imagers, and the material is radio-translucent and simple to wipe down. Adapters are available for any pump manufacturer.
