The rail-type prone headrest moves in the head to feet direction and has four levels of elevation angle so it can be set to individual needs. Meicen configures the cushion for both female and male treatments and notes that using it with a trunk mask improves the immobilisation effect.
These cushions fit onto Meicen C-Series and Y-Series baseplates through an adapter cushion, or they can be indexed straight onto the couchtop. The arm support cushions are shaped ergonomically for patient comfort and may be used on their own or together with the C-Series and Y-Series baseplates. Hand grips adjust easily, which sharpens both the accuracy and the comfort of repeat set-ups. A quick-lock design drops the cushions into Meicen baseplates and an indexed slot fixes them to CT couchtops.
Chest and pelvic support is the stated application for RC-E5003, a 100cm x 70cm cushion taking a 30L fill.
