The MediPrep 820 prepares up to 8 litres of dissolution media in under 15 minutes, while the MediPrep 1622 takes just 25 minutes and is three times faster than manual preparation to USP. Media are mixed, heated, degassed and gravimetrically filled into vessels in a single pass, and foaming media such as SDS can be handled. Filling runs through the integrated dosing connection or directly into containers with the optional remote filling hand. The MediPrep 1622 adds two inlets for premixed media and a waste water outlet, together with an integrated automatic cleaning process that prevents cross contamination.

This offline system extends the DT 950 and DT 9510 series with the first step in dissolution automation: fully automated sampling and storage in vials for separate analysis. The updated TestAssist lets the operator configure and start dissolution tests with automatic sampling from the 7 inch touch display, guiding the user through the test in a few steps for 100 % USP / EP / JP compliant work. User management configures individual rights, so functions can be restricted to administrators, operators and service technicians. Erweka describe it as their most advanced stand alone dissolution system and an easy entry point into dissolution automation.
The DRT tests in vitro release of substances from chewing gums and other dosage forms that have to be masticated into the surrounding liquid medium. Vertical up and down strokes of the lower jaw combine with a revolving movement of the upper jaw to give ideal mastication of the gum and simultaneous agitation of the test medium. For manual sampling, emptying and cleaning, the lower jaw with the test cell lowers so that the chewing process stops, after which the test cell and both jaws lift out easily. A water circulation system regulates the water temperature in the test cell around the media. The modular design allows any number of gums to be tested, with 6 test stations the most commonly used, and cells can take extra accessories to measure chewing gum pressure, torque at shear force, pH value and temperature.
Erweka's dissolution online systems are a semi automatic solution for dissolution testing with automated UV/VIS online analysis. The DT 950 with its integrated, automated ASS-9 sampling station carries freshly sampled media straight to the UV/VIS analyser, where samples are measured and results stored in Erweka's Disso.NET software. Analysers offered include the Mettler Toledo UV7, the Shimadzu 1900i Plus, the Analytik Jena Specord 200/210 Plus and the Thermo Fisher Evolution Pro, each combined with the DT 950 and either an IPC 8 peristaltic pump or a PVP piston pump. Every component is controlled from the Disso.NET PC software.
